Harold James Morgan was known for his kindness and warm-hearted nature throughout his life. He was born on November 23, 1937, in Smith County, Texas, and sadly passed away on February 23, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.
Harold will always be remembered for his friendly demeanor, though he often preferred to keep to himself. He served his country proudly as a United States Naval Veteran. Apart from his military service, Harold had a nurturing side that extended to the natural world around him. He found joy in cooking and crafting sweets, as well as in caring for the birds and wildlife that frequented his home. His love for dogs was evident to all who knew him.
Harold is survived by his daughters Barbara Oshner, Darlene Calvert, Denise Taylor, and one son, Harold Morgan, Jr.; grandchildren Rebecca Petre, Jennifer Turchi, Trista Calvert, Sammi Calvert, and Dusti Calander, seven great grandchildren, siblings: Nancy, Judy, Dan and Joe; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
In this time of loss, let us remember Harold for the warmth and kindness he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace knowing that his legacy of compassion lives on in the hearts of all who were touched by his presence.
