Amy Jo Whitfield

Amy Jo Whitfield, of Kaufman, TX, lost her battle with Cancer but gained a spot next to her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on July 20th, 2022 at the age of 49.  Amy was born on July 31, 1972, and was lovingly adopted by Joe and Jimmie Whitfield at birth. Amy loved her job waitressing at Texas Cafe and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She loved the water and hanging out in the pool and loved time spent at the mudbogs. She loved having her nails and hair done, as well as having cookouts, bonfires and spending time with family and friends. And she especially loved her Dachshunds, Magoo and RJ.  

Amy is survived by her parents, Joe and Jimmie Whitfield of Kaufman TX; sons, Christopher Tidmore of Kaufman, TX, Cody Vasquez and wife Ashley of Kaufman, TX; her daughter, Casey Vasquez of Kaufman, TX; grandsons, Exavien Vasquez of Kaufman, TX, Jonathan Woodard, Jr. of Kaufman, TX; granddaughter, Lilliana Woodard of Kaufman, TX; sister, Melissa Whitfield of Kaufman, TX; nephews, Justin Neal of Kaufman, TX, and Joseph Stillwell of Kaufman, TX; as well as many other extended family and friends.  Amy is loved dearly and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
